Vildomet tablet contains vildagliptin & metformin in it. Vildagliptin & Metformin both serve as anti-hyperglycemic agent i.e. they work as anti-diabetics. They work by causing body to produce more insulin & less glucagon which eventually decreases amount of glucose in blood and controls sugar levels. This combination together is indicated in type 2 diabetes mellitus (adult-onset diabetes), polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS; hormonal disorder in women), and various other conditions.

Adverse Effects:

Following a proper meal diet is essential for maintain blood sugar levels. So do not avoid eating meals
Also prescribed to take this medicine with food as helps avoid digestive disturbances.
Avoid dehydration and drink sufficient fluid in a day
Avoid alcohol consumption with its use.
Consult doctor before using this medicine, if you’ve vitamin B12 deficiency, anemia (lack of healthy RBCs) or developing symptoms of anemia.
Inform doctor before using this medicine, if going for any medical or surgical treatment
Check blood sugar levels periodically
