Advise to Patient:

It is used for the treatment of infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, ENT (ear, nose, and throat), urinary tract, skin, and soft tissue.

Adverse Effects:

Its side effects are liver impairments, hypersensitivity skin reactions, vasculitis (inflammation of blood
vessels), increased bleeding time after injuries, dizziness, headache, convulsions, superficial teeth
staining, phlebitis (inflammation of the vein) at the injection site, gastrointestinal upset, blood disorders,
neurological effects and antibiotic-associated colitis (inflammation of the intestines)

Don’t Use:

It should not be used in people with penicillin hypersensitivity and with a history of
co-amoxiclav-associated or penicillin associated jaundice or hepatic (liver) dysfunction.
