This medicine is used for the treatment of dementia (deterioration in memory) associated with Alzheimer’s disease.

Adverse Effects:

The side-effects are hallucinations, confusion, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, tiredness, hypertension,
constipation, shortness of breath, balance disorders, and elevated liver function tests.

Don’t Use:

This medicine should be cautiously used in patients with liver and kidney impairment. Precautions
should be taken in patients with epilepsy (abnormal brain activity), history of convulsions (uncontrolled
actions of the body), recent myocardial infarction, heart failure, and uncontrolled hypertension.
