Advise to Patient:

It is used to treat conditions such as lower respiratory tract infections, skin and skin structure infections, urinary tract infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, bacterial septicemia, bone and joint infections, and meningitis.

Adverse Effects:

Swelling, redness, or pain at the injection site may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Don’t Use:

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ceftriaxone, any of its excipients or to any other cephalosporin.
