Advise to Patient:

Take the medicine an hour before meals (on an empty stomach), in the dosage prescribed. Try to take it on the same time every day, regularly. Avoid performing a task that requires alertness, such as driving etc. Also avoid foods with a lot of potassium such as bananas and broccoli. Inform your doctor if your lips, face, tongue or throat becomes swollen. Also inform your doctor right away if you notice any of the rare side effects (liver problems, kidney problems, Before any surgical or dental procedure, inform the doctor/dentist that you are taking this medicine. Be careful about sudden changes in position, and try to get up slowly when lying down. This may cause dizziness.

Adverse Effects:

The use of this medicine is associated with side effects such as neutropenia (low levels of white blood cells), hypotension (low blood pressure), rash or loss of taste.
