This medicine is indicated for the treatment of bronchospasm (narrowing of the bronchioles), for chronic bronchitis (inflammation and swelling of the lining of the airways) and its signs such as coughing, wheezing and breathlessness, emphysema (gradual damage of lung tissue, specifically thinning and destruction of the alveoli or air sacs).

Adverse Effects:

This medicine is known to cause side effects which include: dry mouth, headache, nausea, diziness, chest pain, increased blood pressure, headache, cough, upper respiratory tract infection, nasopharyngitis (nasal and throat inflammation), irregular heart beat, and vomiting. in rare cases there may be worsening of breathing symptoms. Although severe allergic reactions to the medicine is rare, contact your healthcare provider incase signs of one emerge.

Don’t Use:

This medicine is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to this product. It is also not recommended to use this drug in patients with premature labor resulting due to toxemia of pregnancy or antepartum hemorrhage from whatever cause.
